This gut renovation of an 1873 farmhouse and construction of a large two-story addition received a 2012 Professional Remodelers Design Award.
UP TO CODE
The existing structure, which had been modified but not upgraded through the years, needed a significant amount of structural and mechanical work to bring it up to code.
Finish details include reclaimed plank flooring and beams from the old house, copper gutters, gable trim and brackets, interior millwork, and historic paint colors.
The client's family first owned the home in the late 1800s. Our restoration and addition maintained its vintage charm while adding living space.
